With £1.5m of funds available, this bridging loan is for projects across England, Scotland and Wales who are building and managing local renewable generation to benefit the local community while creating more cheap, green energy.

Launched in collaboration with Octopus Energy and Midcounties Co-Operative, the Community Energy Kickstart is here to help plug the funding gap for community energy projects.
We know the growth rate of new community owned renewables has stalled, and access to affordable finance at the construction phase can be difficult. For this reason, Younity are here to help. We want to kickstart more community owned projects.
