Our story started in 2019 when Octopus Energy and OurCoop acted on a shared vision to take the support for community-owned renewable energy generation to the next level.

2019
Younity is founded
Octopus Energy and OurCoop bring together technology and co-operative values to support community energy.
January 2020
Our first PPA signed
The first of what would become hundreds of bespoke Power Purchase Agreements is agreed.
August 2022
Our 200th PPA signed
A major milestone in supporting the sector's generators.
