Words from the winner:  The SCE Board and the biodiversity team are thrilled to have received this grant. It will enable SCE to pioneer cattle grazing on a community solar farm and significantly improve the biodiversity of this fertile and challenging 2-hectare piece of land. Cattle grazing with local stock will contribute to sustainable agricultural production for the site, and in doing so, contribute to SCE’s overall strategy for sustainable land management within the context of a community owned solar farm. Thanks so much to Younity for their wonderful support for this project, having a very real impact helping community groups realise their ambitions.
