Powering Your Home with Community Energy

We’ve partnered with Your Co-op Energy to allow you to boil your kettle, cook your dinner and warm your home with community-powered energy

Why switch to the Community Power Tariff?

It's the only energy tariff in the UK entirely backed by the green energy created by community energy groups. By signing up, you're directly supporting local people who are making a difference for the planet and those who need it most.

How does it work?

We purchase renewable energy from over 300 community-owned solar, wind, and hydroelectric projects, generating enough power to supply more than 60,000 homes. This clean, green energy is then ringfenced and sold to our customers through the Community Power Tariff – bringing community energy into every wash you do, every cup of tea you brew, and every episode of tele you watch.

While other suppliers may have varying levels of renewable energy in their fuel mix, we guarantee that our tariff is fully powered by the energy generated by the local groups we work with.

I've been impressed with Your Co-op Energy always staying ahead of market rises and coming up with a good deal. To me, the fact it's 100% renewable energy makes it even better.

Community energy groups and their projects bring together like-minded individuals to unite for climate action. Whether it's installing solar panels on school roofs or building a wind turbine on local farmland, these projects are owned and run by local people. And there’s an easy way you can support the fantastic work they're doing.
