Chief Executive Officer for Integration
Philip Ponsonby is the Chief Executive Officer for Integration for Our Co-op Family, formally known as The Midcounties Co-operative, prior to its merger with Central Co-op in January 2026.
About the project
Projects and experience
We're incredibly lucky to welcome Philip to our board, as he brings with him a wealth of professional experience as well as decades of work with co-ops in a number of high-profile roles. Before his current position as Chief Executive Officer for Integration, Philip was the Group Chief Executive Officer for The Midcounties Co-operative, and prior to that, he served as Group General Manager for Food Retail within the society.
The Midcounties Co-operative has always placed a strong emphasis on community energy, through initiatives like the Community Power Tariff and their ongoing support for the Powering Communities Fund. We're therefore thrilled to have Philip join our board to help guide our vision and strategy for 2026 and beyond.
