Head of Younity (Maternity Cover)
Leading the Younity team on a maternity cover basis while continuing to support the joint venture between Octopus & Midcounties Co-op. Focused on empowering our community energy partners, driving sector growth through knowledge sharing and project leadership, inspiring more people to join the movement, and fostering collaboration in community-owned renewables.

Why community energy: Community energy is about people taking power—literally and figuratively—into their own hands, creating local renewable energy projects that benefit communities instead of big corporations. It keeps profits local, funds social initiatives, and empowers people to be part of the transition to a fairer, greener energy system.

With over a decade of experience in the sector, we’re lucky to have her on board. She’s been a Director at local community energy co-operatives and has led projects across the country, bringing a wealth of knowledge and passion to the team!
